Awesome awesome awesome. The only one haven’t read is turning pro. They were all a few years ago thanks Kevin you’ve inspired me to go back and retread them all!
Also “power of broke” by daymond John
“It’s your move” by josh Altman
“Psychology of selling” Brian Tracy
“The power of habit” Charles Duhigg
“MBA in a book” Joel kurtzman
I completely agree with internalizing what we read. When do you find time to read? I read right before bed, and I always carry my book with me to read when I am waiting.
Kevin thank you for your advice and videos! I have been going back and forth between the MREA and The One Thing for the last month or so. I’m glad they made your cut! Will purchase your book soon!
thanks kevin read 3 out of 10 will re read them along with the others.
I actually used to own — USED to own — some of those titles! In my late teens/early 20s I was an Amway distributor and some books like “Think and Grow Rich” and “Magic of Thinking Big” and some others were highly pushed and recommended. As a late teen/early 20’er and newly married at 21 I wanted to build a business but didn’t have the discipline; years later I got rid of those books thinking I’m never going to read or need them. Now that I’m mature (55) and entering real estate for the first time (hoping to schedule my test this week or next!) and YOU’RE recommending them, I’m out to buy them all over again.
Your videos are one heluva way to start a day.
Same here Chris Yost! We have several of these books after being an Amway distributor for several years. Zig Ziglar and Og Mandino were 2 I loved. New to the Real Estate business and would like to get my business where it should be!
@ Missy Mcclure I’m so curious how did you start? Help me 🙏🙏😭 please
@Shini Papaya Start in which, real estate or Amway? 😉
AWESOME and WOW! I have read 5 of the books on your list 3,5,7,8 & 9 and currently reading (out loud) the Book of Yes! Where would you rank “Outliers: The Story of Success” by Malcom Galdwell, I believe you’ve recommended that book before.
Two books currently in my top 10 are: “The 10X Rule” by Grant Cardone and “Relentless: From Good to Great to Unstoppable” by Tim Grover. Have read any of the 2? And if so, what are your thoughts?
^You
I read “Think and Grow Rich” first… Twice. Good stuff. Then, “Outwitting the Devil” messed me up. Serious game changer for me.
Jonathan Taylor watched the reading of outwitting the devil on YouTube…
I agreee, same for me but then went back to think and grow rich, starting my 8 or 9th read now
Kevin, please add your book 📖 📚 to audible. That would be awesome 😎
Question about The Millionaire Real Estate Agent. After reading ‘doing the math’ a couple of times I noticed that a broker split isn’t taken into account in the GCI or COS, the only split that is mentioned is a split with a buyers agent. Still looks like a great model to follow and you have to broker with someone. Just making sure I’m not missing the broker split somewhere. Any feed back would be great!
The split is factored into Cost of Goods Sold. If you’re with KW your cap is the amount of company dollar the brokerage keeps is 18,000-22,000 Rather than look at that as 64%-70% over a number of transactions they factor it in as the Company $. page 123 of the book models this in the 700k COGS.
Thanks for the vid, Kevin. I’m going to order a couple of those books actually as I’m just starting in real estate. How to win friends and influence people is amazing.
Can anyone answer this question: How do you read all these amazing books and take on he different concepts? Wouldn’t it be too much to think about when one author says A and another says B?
Hi Kevin
I love your videos, very helpful and definitely will look forward to get the list of books you had provide in your video 😄
I’m a new realtor & I just ordered 7 out of the 10 books today off of ebay. Will start with those and keep my eye out for a used copy of the last 3…Thanks for the list!!

Wow!!! I’m brand new to real estate and I’ve read just about every one of those books. After listening to your video the light bulb has come on and I can now see clearly the road map to a million dollars. Its time for me to blow the dust off my books and study them so that I can internalize and make them a part of me. Loved your video…….Thank You

Hey Kevin! About having people say yes from the start: Have you read “Never Split the difference”? How do you feel about the opposite philosophy, having people conditioned to say no at the start so they feel confident throuout the conversation and more open to talk to you? I do believe both have a valid point, what do you think?
Cheers
Thanks Kevin! Your book was recommended by one of my top producing business partners as a “Must Read!”
So glad to hear a must read books for Real Estate Agents! 👊🤗
Thank you for inviting us to include what books we find valuable. My top book is one that was not yet published when you made this video. That is, Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss. Voss is a retired FBI hostage negotiator and his book brings up how people’s minds work. He also wants to avoid yes triggering questions, because yes causes apprehension, fear of commitment. Would you disagree that a “no” answer could still mean lets move forward? Which brings up Jim Camp, Start with NO.
