It looks great and your layout is practical. I’ve lived in a studio and I’d rather have the bed away from the front door. Why encounter the expense of moving existing plumbing. Love your content…such an inspiration!
I appreciate the support Kimberly!
The bedroom should not be at the front door. The bed should be the furthest from the door. It shouldn’t have been that difficult to switch the bathroom and kitchen. I understand you wanted to make it easy, but as long as you have plumbing, it’s just a matter of changing pipes around a bit. So yes, I think it would make more sense to have the kitchen in the front entry across from the living room.
I’m a professional interior designer and the way I would lay it out would be the living room upon entering with the kitchen where the bed is now., and the bed where the kitchen is now. I would then add a door to the bathroom from the bedroom so there would be two entries to the bathroom. Of course this would be an additional plumbing cost.
I applaud you for taking on a project like this to create additional income for yourself. Most people are not going to care or think about it too much, if at all. Visitors want a nice clean private place to stay temporarily. Even though I’ve given a professional design opinion, I would walk in the door and think this place is really nice and it will meet my needs perfectly when I’m visiting. Most people aren’t going to be hanging out. They will be out exploring. I think you did an outstanding job and designing a space is forever a learning experience. Keep up that entrepreneurial attitude! You’ll have a steady stream of income from this place.
As the old saying goes “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Great investment. 💰
It looks great😊😊😊
thanks!
If it makes money, it makes sense. Keep up the great work.
Exactly!
Other people’s

that’s a word!
Do your thing
When someone posts a complaint ask them to attach photos of their airbnb. I am sure there will be crickets. LOL Second, you listen to the market, NOT haters on the innanet. If it stays occupied, that’s your answer. Love you Lili!
That’s nice and you seem like a very good host also.
If it is not broken don’t fix it ..Am older .Be blessed..Do your thing proud of you
Good job. Smart woman!
Looks nice to me. I would definitely rent it if i had the need.
People telling you to just “switch the bathroom and kitchen” don’t know what they are talking and have never actually renovated/built a home before but think they know all.
This seems like a great space if I’m honest, looks and seems nicer than some apartments that would have even higher monthly rent.
But you’ve been booked out for months, so you are proofing the internet “experts” wrong. Hope it keeps going well 😊
How did you target the midterm occupants?
I’d stay there in a heartbeat.
You’re right! The layout works how you have it.
