My Tenant Went MISSING | Real Estate Investing Vlog

It's never a fun time when you have a tenant nightmare in real estate investing, but my weekend was taken over by one of my tenants going missing. Now I've got to move forward with an eviction, and decide what I'm going to do about this property…what do you suggest?

Looking back, was there anything in the tenant’s application or rental history that would indicate that your home would have been left in this condition 😢??

    • @Liliinvests says:

Maybeeee, but I also try not to expect people to have a spotless past. It’s hard to balance, but there were no evictions or violent crimes on his record

  • @brianwright7998 says:

Thank you for sharing! I feel your pain, I had one tenant who flooded the unit, broke the patio glass, and created a huge bug infestation after only 2 years. They left without paying security deposit and last month rent. Smh

  • @ireneramos6010 says:

Be thankful that ur not doing this alone….it will cost u plenty when u have to hire peeps-

  • @digsy23 says:

Sorry to hear you got ghosted. I’ve been there.

  • @haml_36999 says:

This place for $700 dollars a month sounds like a Dream, can’t believe some one will trash such a good deal smh 4:00

Your family is awesome for helping you. He lived like he was still in jail. I’m glad he wasn’t able to damage your property more than he already did.

One rent one Airbnb get a ball out and it’s always somebody watching somebody

  • @GhostDog54 says:

Honestly I wish I could say this isn’t normal but I’ve heard stories. Horror stories 😱😱

  • @mariodimacias says:

Lily, no offense, but who you renting to? Were they screened and vetted? 😮

  • @GregLewisdually says:

That’s why you can’t spend expensive on rentals, because tenants don’t care.😢❤.

  • @nellielee2915 says:

🤣🤣🤣 alert alert he’s taking the pee 🤣

  • @viralbuthow000 says:

This is the thing that has kept my fam from going into RE. What are thoughts on investing in commercial RE instead?

  • @elishamccoll9616 says:

You are right, the Airbnb would be nice for your properties.

  • @melodyn6419 says:

You own 11 units now or more? Why you stopped buy properties?

  • @NikkiAudi says:

Exercise the right to inspections. And a combined short/long term rental plan for that property may be better.

  • @philw9787 says:

Great content, love it, a blessing. Person actually does the work!!

  • @jacobyatako says:

A few rookie moves! Based on the tenants you got it seems like a C or worse class property. Did you over renovate? Did you vet those tenants? And did you check on the property? Must do’s even though they take up a little time

  • @jacobyatako says:

Stick with long-term. Airbnb will man tons of upfront cash in furnishings and then you have to pay a cleaning service and pay utilities and manage your reviews. I’d get it fixed and hope for another 3 years of easy rents

  • @DexterBoyz1984 says:

You definitely didn’t screen your tenant
