Ryan Serhant began his first day in the real estate business on September 15, 2008 – the same day that Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy in the wake of the subprime mortgage collapse. While the real estate sector has steadily recovered, Serhant himself has quickly become one of the most successful brokers in the world, with agents under his leadership in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and the Hamptons. The Serhant Team has been named by WSJ Real Trends as the #1 real estate team in New York for two years in a row, and the #2 team in the country, selling close to $1 billion in real estate last year. Ryan is consistently the youngest broker to make the Journal’s top ten list each year.

Ryan stars in the popular Bravo series “Million Dollar Listing New York,” which just wrapped its seventh season. On September 18, 2018 – the week of his 10-year anniversary in real estate – he will debut his first book, Sell It Like Serhant. When pre-sales were announced, Ryan was #1 on Amazon’s daily list of “Movers and Shakers.” As star and producer, this year he also debuted his new Bravo show, "Sell It Like Serhant," started a successful vlog (www.youtube.com/ryanserhant) and launched an app (Agent Empire: NYC). There is nothing Ryan can't do. His motto communicates his professional and personal philosophy, "Expansion. Always. In all ways."

Ryan’s mindset is unbreakable. He’s a man on mission to win, routine for champions 🔥🔥🔥

    • @steverennie5787 says:

champion of what? working ALL the time… not having a personal life… not having time for other people away from work? lame…

    • @longjohn2404 says:

@Steve Rennie When you’re hyper-focused in the way Ryan is, you find fulfillment and satisfaction in constant growth as a human being. Personally, I think it’s worth it. Sure, you’re sacrificing personal time but not everyone has the desire to always be at the bar, partying or slacking off watching TV. It’s about leaving a legacy and imprint on this world while not blending into the crowd and just living a meager life like most people do. There is nothing lame about achieving immense success and living at your peak state. (For the record, from what I’ve seen, the relationship he has with his wife is better than most considering his “lame” lifestyle)

    • @steverennie5787 says:

@@Julian Arredondo well I can tell from experience that being hyper focused on work is only being successful at work…not at life. Legacy? If you want your legacy to be you worked for 16 hours a day then I go ahead and be my guest… You can achieve at work AND still have a personal life. And if you think most people are merely meager, then your outlook on people in general is strange to say the least.. There is nothing lame about achieving success, you’re right…the lame part somes from sacrificing what it means to live in exchange for being a robot 16 hours a day…

    • @longjohn2404 says:

@Steve Rennie I get where you’re coming from so I won’t discount your argument. Everyone is different, has different priorities and finds fulfillment in different ways.

Personally, I admire Ryan as he’s built a very successful business, has gone many places, met many amazing people, has inspired countless people, has left a legacy of success for his family and has made his mark in so many ways. I say most people are meager because they’re overweight, depressed, stuck in a job they hate, struggling financially, constantly fighting with spouse, spending money on booze, etc..

The best things in life come at a cost and for Ryan it’s his time sacrifice, but at the same time he’s truly living an amazing, accomplished lifestyle that most people can only dream of.

ATTENTION BROTHER!!! I have two very very hot girlfriends who I present in my highly disturbing videos (I smell like 100 de*d orang utans oh nooo)! Thank you for you attention, dear dude kid ryan

    • @hardline5889 says:

First and foremost big fan, the funny thing is my day is structured very similar to yours other than I can’t walk to the gym. I’m in the gym by 4am and done no later than 5-5:15. I’m in the office no later than 6:15-:630. My day is broken down in the Sam Walton way 80% of my time is devoted to driving the team and 20% of the time doing what I need to do. My day is also based on the three C’s – (Communicate – Commitments – Change). Love the commitment and motivation you bring to each Vlog, just ordered the book and put it on the teams read list. Currently covering North America and Canada for now with GE – General Electric as Director of Field Operations.

    • @joshuaashley3168 says:

Common dude, you don’t wake up at 4:20 each morning. You would have to go to bed at 8pm to get eight hours of sleep or else you would be sleep deprived.

    • @ogunleye592 says:

My days are a mess, but is definitely going to get me on the right track

  • @andreitrapizonian says:

Thank you, Ryan! You are an absolute beast of entrepreneurship. Keep up with the vlogs, really enjoy them!
At this point, I cannot do a workout in the morning, but my routine includes pray and mindfulness breathing practice. I get up at 7:15.
Then from 9:00 work at a campus, self-study until 6pm, actual study at the college until 8:30pm, work on my startup from 9pm until midnight.

Currently live with 3 roommates, while sleeping in the hall. No problem to get up at 4am, but problematic to actually sleep around 10:30pm. Hopefully, after college graduation – will live alone and manage everything how I want.

    You have a great day!

  • @TysonBabb says:

Just dropped in for the first time, amazing schedule and dedication to your business! I’m a young man (22) who’s about to embark on his real estate career and the major thing I admired about this video was how optimistic and positive you are throughout the whole day. Cheers mate, new sub 👊💯🔥

  • @royjones59344 says:

I’m a retired financial guy and the sad thing is I still get up everyday at 3:30. Good habits don’t come easy or leave easy. Enjoyed the video

  • @georgejetson9801 says:

My late husband worked like you 6 days a week in sales. He was quite successful. It was lonely and he didn’t get to spend time with the kids much. He got cancer and passed in his early 50s. The part that makes me angry is how hard he worked and he didn’t live to enjoy much of it.

    • @oh_dat_guy4740 says:

If he enjoyed working, like ryan, he probably enjoyed his life. I am working on myself to achieve this. I respect your late husband’s work ethic, and im sorry for your loss.

    • @dackmont says:

@Oh_Dat_guy Fair question, though — why even have a family if you’re not going to hang with them that much?

    • @robertomotta6461 says:

I hope that he worked so hard to give you and your children enough money too survive the hard times in life, giving you food a house clothes technology and extremely important health care a life saver support and get the children into college so they don’t have to struggle in their adult life as so many others do.

    • @drepop803 says:

Thank you for saying this. This life is NOT for everyone.

    • @paulpavlinskyi4793 says:

Oh_Dat_guy the thing is that sleep deprivation lowers quality of your life, not money wise but health wise. If you don’t get enough of sleep for sake of closure of more deals be sure that your life is gonna be shorter than it would be if slept enough.

  • @kylekulp8719 says:

It is no wonder people such as this can become ultra-rich and successful. While average people wake up late and just kind of roll through the day, he has already been up for hours with laser focus. Bravo man, keep it up.

  • @benjaminshaw9109 says:

Viewers need to realize that life captured in front of a lens is never the same as reality when nobody else is watching… this guys may have a similar schedule to what he is a trying to portray but none of us behave the same when others are watching as we do alone, he knew millions of people would be watching this on YouTube lol this guy is good at what he does, advertising himself.

    • @JohnDoe-us1ek says:

100%. Then again, a hell of a lot of people who work get up at 4am and work the same schedules in this video. A lot of them work even more! Only difference would be maybe whether they enjoy it or not or if it’s just to survive. Either way, you’re right.

    • @vortex_master says:

He even makes it clear in one of his videos (I think the one about making more money) that he likes “controlling things he can’t control,” especially people’s perception of him. He straight out said that he does whatever he can to get people to think a certain way about him and make them have an altered perspective. This is part of that. He’s really smart, and he tells you everything he is doing if you pay very close attention and don’t get swept up in his theatrics. The more you watch, the more you can tell when he has his moments of genuine character versus just playing the camera.

    • @CelticAngloPress2nd says:

Jeff Bezo’s does none of these things, he sleeps minimum 6-8 hours everyday and gets to work and has his first meeting at 10am, he gets up around 8.
This dudes entire persona is bullshit lol, its marketing.

    • @JJ-mh3hb says:

      This guys a failed actor

    • @EWCIAGROBEL says:

@CelticAngloPress2nd Ryan goes live on IG all the time at 0430 etc . He’s been doing this for years it’s nothing new for him . Many people wake up this early

  • @scobius1 says:

Hey Ryan, thanks for showing me how you go about your working day, it really shows just how well planned out your day is & how organised and motivated you are. Also, your actual working day was like 7.30 until 10.30, so 15 hours, basically double the average, is that your norm? I guess that’s what it takes when you’re running your own business. Thanks again.

  • @Social_Sherpa says:

Amazing! The level of discipline 👍 and thank you for the “finder, seeker, doer” tip. Gonna apply this ASAP!

  • @henrythechairman6435 says:

Thanks for the amazing and inspiring videos you make Ryan. I have been watching MDLNY for many years and these VLOGS are super cool. Although I am one of the best salespeople in Florida for my company, time management is something that I continue to struggle with. I am going to start splitting day into three parts – Finder, Keeper, Doer and see how much of an effect that has on my business in the next 3 months. I look forward to providing a very successful update in July!

  • @adamlinton-a.fundingexperi5718 says:

This is great man. I love your enthusiasm. Always looking for ways to improve my day and I know this will help. Thank you for doing what you do.

  • @itsmetiffanymarie says:

I really enjoyed this video and loved the enthusiasm he has about daily life. If you want to build an empire you have to WORK. It’s hard and time consuming. Obviously you have to find a partner who is on the same page and it IS possible. Everyone talking about him or her cheating just because they aren’t around each other is so sad from you all.
Thank you for the video Ryan. Keep up the hard work.

  • @RugambwaRay says:

Watching this just made me realize how I need to change my habits if am to make it here. Just moved to AZ a year ago, no penny to my name, just turned 38 and getting older, back against the wall but after watching your Vlogs, super pumped everything will work out fine if am focused. Don’t know if you’ll ever read this but thank you man. Will come back to update you on my progress of the American Dream.

  • @chriswhite8927 says:

I like how this was filmed. Everything was straight to the point. Most daily routine videos are crap, but I enjoyed this. I operate on the same sleep schedule haha. Doing great things keep up the good work man!🤘

  • @thestoryseller6195 says:

That was a really inspiring video. As a financial advisor if I could set just 5 appointments a day then I would have a great career. Ryan doing 20 a day is unbelievable!

  • @IlanDexter says:

I really love the way you structure your days. From planning to doing. I’m going to apply this in my life. Normally, I’d plan a bit, do a bit, plan a bit, do a bit. But if I plan it all and then just do for the rest of the day, I think I’d maximize on time.

  • @omkarsamant2807 says:

I have watched this video for like 100 times now. Everytime I feel like I’m getting off my routine, this video works like a charm.

  • @hershin says:

Watching this has reaffirmed what’s really important in life. To have a wife and only actually interact with her in person for about 2hrs a day is just sad. Don’t ever be so obsessed with making a living that you actually forget to have a life.
