  • @DNGRBills says:

He doesn’t withhold taxes because he doesn’t have to he doesn’t owe half of payroll because they are not employees…it’s not crazy it’s a 1099 it’s common to not have your taxes withheld in these scenarios

  • @JayeetaBhattacharya-v1m says:

Over half to taxes is crazy

  • @ZiyaB3ast says:

Sounds like the guy actually won 20 million but Mr. Beast is being transparent and saying he won 10 million

    • @linkplays2952 says:

Why do you think it sounds like he won 20 lol

    • @ZiyaB3ast says:

@@linkplays2952 cuz uncle sam takes 50%. 50% of 20 million is 10 million

    • @linkplays2952 says:

@@ZiyaB3ast he said he paid 5 million in taxes, that means he got 10. 10/2

    • @ZiyaB3ast says:

@@linkplays2952 i never thought of that. I guess you could just pay someone else’s bills without it being considered a taxable event? So Mr. Beast gave him 15 million essentially? (10 million prize + 5 million to cover the taxes)

Seems like a loop hole to me but makes sense

    • @linkplays2952 says:

@@ZiyaB3ast no, he gave him 10 million, then he has to pay 5 million in taxes leaving 5 million for him to spend/keep

  • @bonussmith-p6w says:

“You will have to pay half in Taxes!” (Amount 10 Mill) Not even close, over 5 Million. I’m maths servant, its easy for me 🙂

  • @ThatVitaminC says:

Wait so you are telling me people get the opportunity to pretty much play a game show where they are out very little money to show up. Wins $10 Million and then complains that Mr. Beast is the issue because the government takes 50%. Wild complaint that you take home $5 million and people are still complaining.

    • @shauryakthegreat says:

He was not complaining if we watch the whole podcast were just discussing his financial situation and how he was planning to fund the $20 million that it will cost for his son to be cured and how he can save money on taxes

    • @alexandersaldua3010 says:

How is that complaining? The dude is just explaining what happened.

    • @DDracee says:

it’s a good thing to not have the taxes withheld on prize money

investing that extra 5mil for extra until the taxes are due is just more money, and if you’re dumb enough to lose some instead you write it off as losses lol and it’s taken off the taxes you owe

  • @TopMrM01 says:

Lmao if he just moved to Puerto Rico que would save more than 4 M 😂, how dumb is this man.
