Congrats, Lili, on scoring more units! Your journey is inspiring me to get my first house hack soon and then beginning BRRRR investing. I have a quick question. On the property (or is it multiple properties? I don’t know if you can get a HELOC on multiple properties or not, but that’s what it sounded like I heard you did) you took a HELOC on, you said you BRRRR’d that property(ies). I’m guessing you did a cash out refi on it and then whatever leftover equity you had in it (I’m guessing 20-25%) you used for the HELOC on this new deal? Just trying to connect all the dots.
Yes for this particular deal I had a HELOC on another property with lots of equity. Some lenders will do a HELOC on multiple properties though
