Definitely basic cleaning supplies if the guests are expected to clean… and well maintained cleaning supplies (not overused rags and sponges)

  • @krisw.5025 says:

I expect the exact same thing that I would get at a hotel for a cheaper price. If I’m paying a cleaning fee, I will not clean. I don’t have to do that at a hotel so I don’t want to do that at an Airbnb.

    detergent and softener

We have stayed at airbnbs 4 times now and have never had host leave snacks and/or waters and sodas in fridge. But that seems like a relatively inexpensive nice touch! I have appreciated variety of coffee, hot cocoa, tea for keurig machine. I will also say nice pots and skillets. One of Airbnbs we stayed at had a ton of pots, pans, skillets and they were all in terrible condition. So bad that I went to a store and bought a skillet for us to use to make eggs with for breakfast. So just a few basics, but good condition is a must for me. Also basic cooking – cooking spray, salt, pepper. Minimalist basics that are all nice. Minimalist decor keeps space feeling clean. I also always look for guest feedback that says the beds were comfortable.

Leave water, bath gel, and toilet paper. If a guess gets sick from any food you leave out you may be liable.

  • @mariantabaksmith6557 says:

Water is nuce to leave or a filtered water pitcher.

  • @CloseWithKay says:

That’s such a thoughtful touch leaving the snacks. Had you ever considered pre-packaged snack baskets? This way you can just have snack baskets ready to go for each turnover…like pre-filled baskets with your usual snacks. Kinda grab n drop idea

  • @Chris-tm7if says:

I don’t expect much – basic cookware and dishes, BUT… I expect the house and dishes to be clean. Sooo many Airbnbs have nasty dishes. Guests don’t do em’ – even if they’re supposed to.

  • @Eileen49654 says:

No snacks. I’m host, I’ve never left snacks. I used to leave unopened food left in fridge for next guest til someone complained about fridge not being empty so I throw it away
I leave toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, body soap.
