‘If’ not unopened! I’m surprised they left cracked eggs in the carton. At a VRBO we rented, we Always threw unused away and took out the trash, cleaned counters with Chlorox wipes, etc. To me, people just don’t respect other people’s property the way we were taught, Old School! It’s a shame we’ve gotten away from that type of respect! And dirty towels, I’d place together in a corner of the bathroom, as well as me cleaning out the fridge and microwave! It just makes sense to me!

I think that people convince themselves that they will cook every day in order to save money, but when it comes down to it, you just feel as if it’s not a vacation if you are doing the same things you do at home.

I think they splurged on food and didn’t go out to eat, but didn’t stress when they had uneaten food. They were getting their cleaning fees moneys worth for sure

People are not taught, have NO empathy for others, just maybe was in a rush to leave- about to miss the flight, are True Karens ( Narcissistic Behavior) and Don’t care about anyone but themselves, or just have the ‘On Vacay Syndrome’- feel like they Don’t Have to do Anything because They Paid for the Maid!
People need to do their own dishes. That’s just gross. Load the dishwasher before you leave. Paying a cleaning fee doesn’t justify this. I load the dishwasher and take the trash out before I check out.
My thought is, if they left someone else’s place looking like that, how does their own home look!? I never leave a place I have rented looking like a mess.
They’re paying a cleaning fee regardless so why do the work they’re being charged for?
It’s just like a hotel basically, I have definitely left some trash and stuff laying around because of rushing upon check out.
It’s a courtesy to have everything cleaned up, but it’s not a requirement, especially if ur paying a cleaning fee or something of the sorts, and its usually not an absolute mess, just a few things sitting around.
These people probably woke up late or something, took longer packing and was in a rush to leave before check out time

Very simple, we bought too much after our cruise while we were staying at the Airbnb in Tampa. We left some things behind because we did not want to trash them.
But we left the place looking better than this one😊
I’d honestly be embarrassed to leave my dishes in the sink for someone else to clean up. Somebody’s mother has a lot to answer for. Looks like they intended to cook every meal, but then remembered they were on vacation, and couldn’t pack the food in their luggage – the food for the dishes .. good exchange, as long as you’re not a vegan

It’s an Airbnb. They already paid a hefty cleaning fee so why would they do the dishes?
Regardless if they left the food or not you would still get hit with a clean up fee just tell the person who cleans it keep it or throw it out .
I usually leave groceries that the next guest could use. You never know the person’s situation 😊!
