Crack egg shells back in the carton is an East Coast Thang 😊

  • @carolynroper3794 says:

    Yes, I do this myself

  • @joancastillo2708 says:

THANK GOODNESS THEY DIDN’T DESTROY YOUR PLACE

  • @diesel2fifty says:

I’ve that with the eggs sometimes, idk why. didnt think it was normal until now im questioning it😂

  • @pokelynke8232 says:

The only time I put egg shells back into the carton is when I’ve used them all and will throw away the carton.

  • @evolettalove says:

I’ve only seen older people in their late 60’s and 70’s do the eggshell thing. I don’t know if younger people do it, but almost every older man I’ve worked for as a housekeeper has done that. (I know because they also asked me to keep an eye for any food going bad in the fridge every now and then. The ammount of times they bought cheese or yoghurt that completely molded is beyond any explanation for why they kept buying it.)

Obviously you don’t have a granny from the south! Cause baby that’s how they do them egg shells!

  • @annettejohnson3625 says:

Yep. 30 plus yrs putting the shells back in the carton. ❤

  • @ourcozychalet says:

Yes, it is done because if you put it in the trash, it can smell depending on how long you dump the trash. If I put it in the trash, I will rinse out the residue before throwing in the trash. It’s a preference 😊 Looks like they took care of the place.

  • @NapturallyPecanBrown says:

Yes, I keep egg shells in the carton. But that’s because I use them later in my houseplants and garden 👍🏾 🪴
