  • @jeffbrewer9785 says:

This has been working very well for me

  • @MrSkyline1020 says:

After they say OK let me know why you’re calling what is your script for that?

    • @BrandonMulrenin says:

Ask the prospect a question to see if what you do would be of any value to the prospect or not…”I’m not sure if nows the right time but there’s a few buyers looking to purchase a home just like yours and I didn’t know if you knew a buyer was willing to give you a great offer if you’d consider selling or not?”

  • @infinitegaming1015 says:

Agree with everything in the vid except for the lakers jersey.

  • @Cards-In-The-Closet says:

My dad was in sales and I have the highest respect for such a thankless job, but if someone asked me that my response would be,”Sorry, I don’t have time.”, click.

    • @mitchellrusten3726 says:

It’s a numbers game. Some industries are a hundred no’s (if not hundreds) for every yes, and that’s just for the people that actually answer the phone.

However, it’s a numbers game, and if you can get every 4 people to stay on the phone for every 20 answers or whatever instead of 3, then all else being equal, that’s a 33% increase in sales.

    • @michaelmartin5628 says:

Just out of curiosity, would you respond any differently? If the opener was something like, “Hey cards in the closet, I’ll be up front, this is a cold call, so do you wanna just hang up on me right now or let me have 30 seconds to tell you why I called and then decide?”

    • @Cards-In-The-Closet says:

@@michaelmartin5628 I probably would listen. Heck, I even let the Jehovah witnesses talk to me at the front door, but again, I would just be wasting both of our time just to being cordial.

    • @michaelmartin5628 says:

@@Cards-In-The-Closet fair enough — I appreciate your feedback. In any case, if you gave me that 30 seconds and what I said wasn’t relevant to you, then we could end it there and both move on with our day. That’s why I like that approach better than others 🤷‍♂️

  • @ariellabrauer9974 says:

My favorite way to start a cold call is “did I catch you at a bad time” 90 % of people so no it’s a good time.

  • @gustavolugo6219 says:

I like this version better than your longer script. 👍 thanks

  • @charlnienaberpropertyconsu1524 says:

I just ask if they want to sell their house. But I do it with a smile, and enthusiasm, haven’t had an click in ages! Most people are quite receptive.

  • @JAKIEM00N says:

At first I thought this was too weird but you are right! I love using this line now and it allows for a smoother conversation

  • @armanishemak1277 says:

Cold calling in a Kobe jersey gotta be the biggest statement move I’ve ever seen

  • @GY6SCOOTERCHAT says:

Hear the click sound at “before you hang up”

  • @Adriansofresh says:

    CIRCLE PROSPECTING Script…

Hey Jeff.. it’s Adrian with REMAX.. is this a good time you have just 30 seconds? Thank you, the reason for the call is I have a client looking to buy a house ..just like that one .. so I was curious.. do you have any plans in moving?

    If no.. MOVE ON
    If yes.. set the appointment

  • @ohhNate85 says:

Yeah I agree If you say it correctly is absolutely will work. Like you said it gives them the feeling that they are in control of the conversation while you are actually controlling and directing it.

  • @lookmanmybad3885 says:

The biggest issue when getting a cold call is the amount of my time you’re taking up. I don’t wanna listen or be obligated to talk to you. Get to the point and stop being so wordy. I hate to be asked “can I ask you this, before you hang up is it okay if…” Its asking me to do you the favor of listening to you when we both know I’m not interested. Start with what you can do for me, I gotta be immediately interested and see why IM being helped. No one likes “please listen and buy this for me” vibes.

    • @Vinnietrips says:

Can you give out an exaple of this. Or tell us about a time someone got your attention with what they said.

    • @lookmanmybad3885 says:

@@Vinnietrips An example is “hi how are you today, you mind if I ask you a few questions about such and such,” I do mind so just ask. or if I ask a simple question and you give me a bunch of details about the product when It could have been a 5 word answer. Like hush already jeez. I’m probably a terrible lead for any company so I may not be the best to take advice from.

    • @Vinnietrips says:

@@lookmanmybad3885 That’s good advice tho, I mean I don’t think people like to be called out the blue to play a guessing game.

    • @TheGreatWall22 says:

Thanks for this! Great tip. Be frank. “Hi I’m providing house security!” Either a quick no, or if they don’t hang up, bam step two, they’re hooked they didn’t hang up so now you can actually provide the value of said product “I can provide you a better priced rate per month and better quality security system”. They still haven’t hung up, likely they’re not screaming yes, step three the close out. And that’s where I’m stuck 😂 I’m learning and very very new to sales any tips are greatly appreciated!

    • @beanergarage6311 says:

Youre telling us that youd rather be asked ” do you want to sell you’re house yes or no”

  • @davidmorrison4035 says:

I tell them its a cold call.. They can either hang up, or give me 17 seconds of their time.. People have been surprisingly receptive to it and give me a shot

  • @seifkarani1729 says:

“Before you hang up quick…” I know its a marketer and hang up

  • @jackneals5585 says:

This is actually VERY solid advice. 👌

  • @ravenillusion2596 says:

Maybe 20yrs ago but now a days unknown calls are rarely answered and target audience is minimal

  • @stevenhannosh21 says:

my way is straight to the point, I simply let them know we are booking appointments for 2024- who do you know that is looking to sell or buy a home? I get 95% better response- people want people to be upfront and honest, just have a genuine conversation- no special way of putting it

  • @Oliv174 says:

    Great and simple advice
