My issue is that I am always in my head. I don’t know if it’s a disorder, but I just don’t know what to ask them. I use a script, but once that script is out of the picture, then no amount of questions are generated on my end to continue the conversation, to dive deeper. It’s like for me the script is literally the building blocks to a conversation, without it then there is no conversation.

This happens with role plays, and with real time conversations

Maybe it’s because I’m introverted and barely talked my whole life with strangers (I’m 18) and don’t have any hobbies besides video games and YouTube .

First, just breathe and relax. Act like you’re talking to your mom or best friend. No big deal.
Second, it’s no big deal. Try approaching as if you don’t need the deal at all. Just like Ricky said; make your goal getting to know them and building a relationship, as opposed as selling/buying a home.
Also, practice. Call a few stores or companies before you make your cold calls. Go to the store and talk to the clerk. Just warm up before diving in.

@@teleskopossomniumthank you for responding to me. As I mentioned before, no amount of questions are generated on my end to continue or “move along up the ladder” the conversation. It can be with a family member, stranger, agent at the office. There’s no role play that will help me generate questions with my own mind. I literally need the script. It’s like being paralyzed and needing a wheelchair. My current conversation abilities are like being paralyzed and the wheelchair is the scripts.

It sucks because I’m not interested in university, the w2 job market sucks bad, and the pay for real estate deals is phenomenal.

If I had the ability even on a basic level (which I don’t have) then I’d be calling all day long
