What a freaking mess
Mind u Zillow doesn’t feed all there listings into our MLS? If there were a brokerage they would have to put there stuff in mls too..
Zillow was built & current being feed MLS listings.
Zillow is a brokerage.
A new association is needed
While I agree you turning against Nan is not going to help you all these people saying let’s leave NAR are taking the bait as soon as you lose the dues in a lobbying power industry is completely screwed
Don’t Play yourself if you want changes get involved
NAR*
You’re 100% right
We need to create a Realtor’s union. Same rules for everyone. That would end all these crazy ideas. Our old system was working as an oiled machine. There were no issues nor complaints.
I believe we had a fair system with equal opportunity to all the buyers. Now these crazy brokers are trying to discriminate, and what they don’t understand is that the DOJ is watching us. More legal issues, more complaints from consumers and more trouble for us (Realtors)
That is literally what NAR was. But the 90s and 00s agents didnt keep it in check. The eatin’ was too good and they screwed us all. Now Ricky is trying to pick up the pieces…
Who? That’s made no sense.
Preach Ricky.
Where can I find that data pertaining to tge 87 hours and 122 tasks a buyers agent endeavors on behalf of their client, please? This sounds useful.
Yessss
EXACTLY!! Preach it Ricky!!!!
I totally agree with you Ricky. All recent changes to our industry is stated as being in the best interest of the consumer. BULL CRAP! All of us, agent, know it’s totally about the bottom line for the people that stands to have their bottom line inflated. They don’t care about the consumers or the agents! Only focused on their own bottom line.
Big Companies need to be employers……………..they are trying to run rough shot
The leadership at NAR is horrible. I completely agree with this post. @rickycarruth
Thanks again Ricky for your industry outlook opinion and keep agents, brokers in the real estate community informed.
Of the many things that NAR is, they are definitely antiquated. They aren’t consumer nor agent friendly…they are simply for profit!
Home owners don’t even know who nar is.
