Before I started real estate, I was a door-to-door window salesman. That experience has been instrumental in my development as a real estate agent. I’m closing on a house today from a lead I got from cold door knocking–simply asking if they had any interest in selling. It works!

  • @andyt3233 says:

Door to door is also a fun thing to do. When I sold the Detroit news subscriptions at 12 years old it was a very fun thing to do at that age. I highly recommend doing so. I just getting into real estate an I’m going to be doing this all over again

    • @List_with_Lou says:

I sold the la times/daily news out here in la for 10+ years lol and now taking my skills in door to door in realestate!
      keep at it !

    • @BenjaminFrinkRIH says:

I also used to sell newspaper subscriptions door to door from age 12 to 16 and I used to make so much money and the experience I gained was priceless.

    • @cameronureofficial says:

This is so cool. It’s crazy how simple it can be as long as people have the grit to do it!

  • @thomast.3989 says:

Door knocking really works! Face to face makes a huge difference in this business and I truly believe face to face is the true key to this business! You can make all the phone calls you want but at the end of the day, if an appointment is set, you still gotta face them 😁

  • @saktah says:

Well it makes sense, we prospect to set up appointments to meet up with the sellers, and Cameron is already there showing his face to prospect. His voice is so calming, I’m sure that helps dealing with future sellers on that matter as well! Thank you for the great video and amazing questions Brandon!

    • @cameronureofficial says:

I appreciate your kind words! Anyone can do it, it just takes getting out and applying it.

  • @lashawnawarren3376 says:

I feel like I’m better in person This is very helpful. Thank you for all the good advice

  • @WallaceRealtyGroup says:

🔥🔥🔥 just got a listing yesterday from a door I knocked a year ago. This is spot on! Great interview!

  • @stevehildre5197 says:

Great video. I would recommend a simple one page bio sheet, or flyer or even a business card to give them. And it never hurts to ask for their phone number / email to stay in touch from time to time.

    • @antrod8014 says:

      Good point!

    • @cameronureofficial says:

Everyone has their own personal style! I don’t bring anything with me just because it makes it easier to get their information while I’m right in front of them. Nothing wrong with leaving something behind though!

    • @mikelastmanstanding6078 says:

Cameron, if you carry nothing, how did you keep track of your leads? The names and addresses of those you visited? And how did they remember your name if you didn’t hand them a business card?

  • @andreacoar216 says:

Thank you so much for all of this excellent content. Your relaxed demeanor is admirable and I can see why you are so successful at door knocking. I crave social interaction being since I was a bartender for 23 years. I’m new to real estate. Thank you for motivating me on the door knocking technique. Wishing you much success in the years to come 💪🏻😊🙏🏻

  • @michelletxrealtor says:

This was such an amazing video. I should acquire my license by July but I will definitely be applying what he taught

  • @yourlocalrealstatedirect7780 says:

Thank you Brandon and Cameron great content!
Question what time can you advised for door knocking ?
Any specific app to storage prospects contact of information when you are doing door knocking including follow up with text messages after the immediate meet up?

    • @cameronureofficial says:

I recommend knocking in the afternoon, evening hours and I have a spreadsheet I created to keep track of leads!

  • @antrod8014 says:

Condo door knocking would be a challenge here in Florida where you have to get by the gatehouse security who inquires who are you here to visit and then contacts the tenant who then says they’re not expecting any visitors. Most condo rules prohibit solicitors. At least here in Miami.

    • @cameronureofficial says:

That is a challenge in some places. I recommend finding areas where you know someone or you or an associate have sold a home before giving you an in.

  • @mutravent says:

I’m enjoying doing field work, house to house or door knocking, it’s fun meeting new people, offering your best products and when you close the sale it’s full filing. So I 100% recommend door knocking. 😊👍

  • @rosalinacrespo7797 says:

This is so good. Great info 💯. It was relieving to know that I’m not the only one that has left money on the table for not following up on time. Cameron is a rock star! Thank you for this video 🤩

  • @AlbertaRealtorEddyTadesse says:

door knocking has been the hardest lead generation I’ve ever done. But after enough rejections, you almost get numb to it and the people that are receptive to you are usually long term relationships and they sometimes become amazing sources of referrals

  • @justauser says:

Tip: since a lot of doors you knock on won’t open, leave a flyer of some sort, even better leave a letter to the seller explaining why you were at their door so you can maximize your time instead of just moving onto the next door without leaving anything. I’ve gotten listings from letters to sellers on doors that didn’t answer! It really means you can increase your exposure with having the same amount of time invested

    • @israelpadilla3790 says:

What kind of flyer do you leave at the door?

    • @riannar4394 says:

This is great. What do you recommend as to the contents of the letter?

    • @realtorjeremy says:

@Rianna R I usually leave a letter to a seller explaining I have a buyer looking to make a purchase in their neighborhood (Adds value) but honestly ANYTHING is better than nothing

  • @CobleTeam says:

This is crazy, I have been in the business for 7 years and I just started door knocking again and it’s been very positive… I’m glad I watched this video it motivated me to keep moving forward

  • @meet_subhajit says:

🔥Great video! As a fellow real estate professional, I understand the hustle it takes to succeed in this industry. However, in today’s digital age, door knocking alone is not enough to maximize your lead generation potential. That’s why I’ve been using a powerful software tool that has transformed my business.

With my software, I generate 100’s of high-quality leads on autopilot per month, saving me time and helping me close deals more efficiently. It has been a game-changer for me, and I believe it can do the same for you. Imagine spending less time knocking on doors and more time focusing on what matters – building relationships and closing deals.

If you’re interested in taking your real estate business to the next level and unlocking a whole new level of lead generation!

Invest in your success today and see the difference it can make in your business. Happy selling! 💼🔑💰

  • @BrotherYerahmeel says:

This is reassuring. I did a lot of door knocking in politics. I enjoy one on one discussions with people. Being autistic, I also need to see people to read their body language. I’m looking forward to this. I don’t start my class until Aug and I’m already working on getting my name/brand out by providing helpful info free of charge. Thanks AI! Lol

  • @Cathywalter192 says:

Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly..

    • @tahirisaid2693 says:

This is superb! Information, as a noob it gets quite difficult to handle all of this and staying informed is a major cause, how do you go about this are you a pro investor??

    • @sanaalazare says:

Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.!.

This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets.
