The Ultimate Step-by-Step Process of How to LIST & SELL Someones Home

What are the steps for selling a home? In this video, I explain the step by step process as a Realtor / Real Estate Agent that YOU need to take in order to help someone sell their house. Most people think that it's as simple as uploading a few photos to the MLS and then sitting there until an offer comes in… Not so fast.

I take you through each and every step that you will be responsible for as a Realtor from the point of meeting your clients for the first time, to listing the home, getting it sold, and keeping in touch with your clients.

Thanks for this video. I’ve been looking for a video just like this that breaks down the process step by step, and this is the only one I found so far.

  • @brittanymorse3695 says:

This was so helpful. Thank you so much for making this video!!!!!

  • @jaclynalexander3673 says:

Thank you so much! You are now my mentor. 🥳

  • @mckennahebebrand9139 says:

Being a Type-A person, this video is so helpful to see a broken down list of steps I need to take. Thank you!

  • @DSGQR says:

I find the comment about “not taking photos with your iPhone” interesting. I understand the point you’re making but as a former photographer, it’s almost never about the equipment and almost always about the person using the equipment. I have presented better photos with my phone than some have with their 5K digital SLRs.

Otherwise thanks so much for the video. I appreciate all the info and your perspectives.

    • @cesarramirez9717 says:

Agreed, but like you said you’re a “former photographer” you know what you’re doing. The average agent doesn’t. You have no idea how many crappy photos I see on the MLS. Homes that could have more exposure get overlooked because of shitty photos and lighting conditions. If you can take some really good pics on your phone, and have the editing skills go for it and save yourself a couple hundred bucks.

    • @DSGQR says:

@Cesar Ramirez good point and fair enough.

  • @lakeisharobinson2457 says:

    Very informative, thank you!

  • @joselustre71 says:

    Awesome content brother !

  • @christopherlowery4104 says:

Mike Great content! I found it very useful! I now have an outline about all the steps to listing a home of sale. Could you make a video or videos that goes into more details about each step in this process?

  • @raymondkybartas9948 says:

very informative, no fluff -right to the point

  • @napokolibrian4691 says:

This video is pure gold, thanks for the breakdown

  • @dleon2024 says:

Great video! I would mention on step 9, make sure buyer’s submit pre approval letter/proof of funds with offer.

  • @ivalinapasse2469 says:

Great Information Just Professional. Wow Hands on Love it Go see the Property and Evaluate the Property and Open Houses to Sell the Property.True Every Agent Doesn’t do the Same thing. Great information.

  • @slowdown.livewithlife says:

when representing a buyer, who pays the commission? the seller?

  • @TheFitDragon says:

Would you do all those steps, specifically pro photographers if u list a small 2k commission property? I am a good photographer and have plenty of amazing photo’s. Also when u go through a property do you ever recommend the seller to invest 1k 5k or more to help the home sell quicker? Like bad landscaping or paint issues or chipped tiles or maybe u have an example of something u would recommend? Good video thx!

  • @Iamwealthandriches says:

The part I feel like isn’t talked about is what to do after getting the license and finding a brokerage

  • @karamellabella9248 says:

Just recently passed my exam and in the process of interviewing with different brokers. I must say WOW!! This was outlined Soooooo Well!!! Hec if I was feeling a lil better I would of had a glass of Margarita while watching this 🤣 While u had your Beer💯👍🏽 Great video I took my notes 📝 👍🏽

You don’t need to have much before you can invest. “That little money you have now can make you millions if you invest it wisely”. I wasnt financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! I initially started my investment journey with the guidance of an investment advisor named Regina Louise Collaro..She’s widely recognized for her expertise, so you might have come across her name. Her transparent approach granted me full control of my investments, and her fees are reasonable, considering my return on investment.Nonetheless, it’s crucial to conduct thorough research before engaging with any investment advisor

    • @cathenido1624 says:

Regina Louise Collaro is based in the United States and can work with anybody wherever they stay. If you would like more information on reaching her, you can conduct a search online.

    • @Richardklainney says:

I have had the intentions of starting investing. But I always thought it was late and I think I need to stop procrastinating. I will definitely 🔍 Regina Louise Collaro and see what she can advise .Thanks a lot . This was of so much help to me .

    • @Lawrencekingsley01 says:

Regina Louise Collaro and I are close friends. I am certain that she has a thorough understanding of the investing plan and has regularly given me insightful advice. My portfolio has benefited greatly from her ability to assess market trends and spot attractive investment opportunities. Under her direction, I have seen consistent development and outstanding returns on my assets.

  • @StevenHammRealtor says:

I just met with a client today to do my first listing. Very excited.
    Great tips and advice Mike.
    Took lots of copious notes.

  • @malibusam3904 says:

Extremely valuable for a new agent. Why don’t brokers teach their agents this on DAY 1? Some simply make sure you can do the paperwork and then let you figure it out.
